I recently finished this painting of a Friesian stallion, based on an engraving by Albrecht Dürer dated 1503 of a trotting stallion which i saw first during a big expo of Dürer’s work in Hamburg. What a fantastic artist this man was! My painting is 50 x 60 cm, oil on canvas and now waiting to be varnished! I’m happy!
